Refund Policy

Immigration Consultation Appointment Refund Policy – 30 minute, 60 minute video Sessions:

General Policy for All Short-term Immigration Consultation Services:

• Non-Refundable Fees After Completion: Consultation fees are fully earned and non-refundable once the scheduled consultation is completed. Fees cover only the time allocated for the service. Due to the complexity of immigration matters, not all questions may be addressed during the consultation.
• Good Faith Additional Time: If any remaining questions can be addressed briefly, the attorney may provide an additional 5 minutes of follow-up via Google Meet or phone call at their discretion.

30-Minute Immigration Consultation via Video:

• Service Description: This consultation assesses your immigration needs, clarifies doubts, and may lead to future representation for case preparation before USCIS, depending on your profile and the feasibility of the specific immigration category.
• Non-Refundable Fee Policy: The consultation fee is non-refundable once the 30-minute call is complete. Additional time is not guaranteed beyond the scheduled period.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for 30-Minute Immigration Consultation via Video:

• Full Refunds for Timely Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
• Cancellation Limitations: Clients may cancel and receive a full refund up to three times within any two-month period, provided each cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance. Exceeding three cancellations within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee for further cancellations, even if notice is given.

1-Hour Immigration Form Review via Video:

• Service Description: A one-hour review of a self-prepared immigration petition (e.g., EB-2 NIW, EB-1(a), O-1(a), H-1B, TN, I-539, I-765 etc) to ensure correctness. This does not constitute formal legal representation. Any remaining time may be used for answering general questions about the process.
• Cancellation Limitations: Fees for form review are non-refundable upon completion of the scheduled one-hour service. Once you book an appointment, cancellation must be made at-least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time to get full-refund. You can reschedule your canceled 1 hour review up-to 2 times within any 2 month period with no penalty.
  • Partial refund of 50% is available if you cancel the appointment between 48 hours and 24 hours before appointment schedule. However, you can reschedule your canceled 1 hour review up-to 2 times within the 3 month period with no penalty. If you do not wish to reschedule, then the attorney provides the notes on your form review via email.
  • If you cancel your paid video consultation for form review less than 18 hours before the appointment time, and you do not wish to reschedule the video consultation, then we will only refund 25% (1/4) of the total paid consultation fee for form review.
    
  • If you cancel more than 2 times within any 2 month period, then there is no refund available and the attorney provides the notes about your form review via email.

1-Hour RFE Review Services via Video:

• Service Description: This consultation provides advice on responding to a Request for Evidence (RFE) for various visa categories (e.g., EB-1, EB-2 NIW, H-1B, L-1,I-539, I-765 etc). If formal representation is later retained for the RFE response, then the consultation fee may be credited towards the service.
• Cancellation Limitations: Fees for RFE review are non-refundable upon completion of the scheduled one-hour service. Once you book an appointment, cancellation must be made at-least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time to get full-refund. You can reschedule your canceled 1 hour review up-to 2 times within any 2 month period with no penalty.
  • Partial refund of 50% is available if you cancel the appointment between 48 hours and 24 hours before appointment schedule. However, you can reschedule your canceled 1 hour review up-to 2 times within the 3 month period with no penalty. Comprehensive RFE response and business immigration services:

Comprehensive RFE response and business immigration services have individualized engagement agreements between prospective client and the attorney. That engagement agreement controls all the terms (including any possible refund option) related to the comprehensive immigration related representation.
